This is not the greatest quality shot by any means, since I took it hand-held through my living room window, but I still like it. There have been many sharp-shinned and cooper's hawks hunting in our yard this winter. A couple of American Kestrels, too. One day there was a hawk in the yard nearly the whole day. It's a lot of fun to watch and a challenge to capture with my camera...
"Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field..." Genesis 2:19-20a (NIV)
